You are a new creation in Christ

Inspired by the uplifting verse, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come,” this artwork was designed to capture the beauty of transformation and the new beginning we have in Christ.

The butterfly was chosen because it beautifully symbolizes transformation and renewal. Just as a caterpillar is transformed into a beautiful butterfly, God transforms the lives of those who place their faith in Him. The vibrant green background represents life, growth, hope, and the new beginning we receive through Jesus Christ.

Together, these elements point to the incredible promise found in 2 Corinthians 5:17—that through Jesus, the old has passed away, and a new life has begun.

I hope that every time you look at this artwork, it points your heart back to this life-changing truth: no matter what your past looks like, God can make you new.
